About Internal Complaints Committee – ICC (formerly GSCASH)

The Internal Complaints Committee (ICC), formerly present in the form of committee on Gender Sensitization and Committee on Sexual Harassment (GSCASH) in the university, is a redressal mechanism prescribed by the UGC (Prevention, prohibition and redressal of sexual harassment of women employees and students in higher educational institutions) Regulations, 2015. It is accessible to all employees and students of this university. The committee members can be contacted at any time by students and employees.

Its aims and objectives are:
To provide information regarding counselling and support services on our campus.

Special talk on ‘ Safety of Women’ by Ms. Sridevi Patil, PSI, Nanded, at Girls’ Hostel, SRTM University, Nanded
An interaction with girl students was organized on 7th March 2018 at School of Commerce and Management Sciences. President of ICC (formerly GSCASH), Dr. Mrs. M.S. Deshpande, other members Dr. Archana Sable, and Mrs. Leena Kamble interacted with the girls of SCMS along with Ms. Amarpreet Kaur. Dr. Deshpande spoke about the objectives, nature and functioning of the ICC/GSCCASH and the The Sexual Harassment of Women at Workplace (Prevention, Prohibition and Redressal) Act, Vishakha guidelines and other gender related issues. After her introductory speech, girls talked about their difficulties and asked some questions. Dr Deshpande, Dr. Sable and Ms. Kamble answered their questions.
